Writing Well and its Benefits Although some people might argue that writing well does not have any benefits, in fact it only takes more time; however, by writing well we can ensure that when conveying our idea, it will not be confusing, by writing well we sound more intelligent, when writing a letter, we can have a better first impression, specifically on people who we have not met yet and by writing well, we keep our script more interesting, therefore, we have less chance of being ignored.

Not only does the author need to make sure he/she is using proper grammar and spelling, but he/she also needs to learn to be patient with all the years of learning and know that good writing cannot be taught, instead, it is something that you learn over the years gradually with lots of practice. Also, a good writer needs to keep reading different journals, articles and books in order to keep growing vocabulary knowledge. While writing is hard for lots of people, it can also be made easier by practice. This also means that even if writing is not your strong point, it can be improved. Whether writing is your strong point or your weakness, it all depends on your creativity and how you choose to utilize it. Having strong writing skills is very helpful no matter what occupation you are a part of. The problem for most people is that they do not spend enough time practicing their writing skills because most people think that it is not important and not essential to their profession. Unfortunately they do not realize that until they are given a task at their job that requires strong or moderate writing skills and needs to be done accordingly. This is why now days, it is easy to find people going back to school and going through the whole process of becoming a student in the first place. Considering that the process of becoming a student again is very time consuming and requires a lot of extra work, the older people in the workforce are still going back to take some writing classes and trying to get improved and updated with their skills. This is also not easy because there are rules added to the proper way to write and students have to get constantly updated on their skills, whether you are in an office job or a job that you would think has nothing to do with writing skills like working in construction.
