Canada has been receiving a great deal of media attention with respect to its flourishing economy and of its performance even under recessionary conditions. Future prospects for growth have been highlighted with business opportunities expanding as a result of this growth. There has never been a better time for those contemplating emigration to Canada as employment and business prospects continue to develop.

Further boosting Canada's economic performance, now and into the foreseeable future, has been the successful tender for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, which is projected to generate large direct and indirect revenue streams and economic development for Canada as a whole and British Columbia in particular.
