Budget: Microsoft has spent about 1.8 million dollars for promoting Windows 8. The estimated budget to solve the issues by migrating it to cloud and implementing other techniques would cost including both technical and non technical resources. When Windows 8 and surface was launched initially, Microsoft gave a high promoting; however, the organization has spent more for Windows 8.1. According to Winsupersite reports, around $241 million on retail Windows was spent by Microsoft. So, at present it is planning to spend around $405 million. Out of this $131 million is said to be identified with incentives and offers, while the remaining $274 million will be spent on advertising and working costs. Also, The functioning of Windows 8.1 is almost similar to that of the Windows 8 system. In fact, Microsoft decided to offer free update to the users whose PC runs with Windows 8. Initially, it took three months for the Microsoft Company to discover the resolution problem for the drawbacks in windows 8. For windows 8 OS invention it took Microsoft 10 to 12 months. Every aspect is took some time. In windows 8 OS advanced technology is used and new functionalities are added such as Metro, UI, GUI, touch gadget improvements, Metro interface. These several features are included in Windows OS. And also Windows 8 OS face so many drawbacks. It failed to attract customers and maximum number of customers are facing several issues with the Windows 8 OS. So schedule is made for resolving those issues. Approximately it took around 3 months for resolving issues. Especially the main drawback is Metro Interface so it takes so much time compare with other drawbacks.
