William Shakespeare: The Greatest Dramatist of All Times

Throughout the world, Shakespeare is a very well-known man, and has been for many years now. It should be noted that he is more popular in our time than he was in his own, however. He is known world-wide for all his plays, poems, and sonnets that he produced in just a few short years during his writing career. According to my research, he has been said to be one of the greatest dramatist of all time (“William Shakespeare Biography”)
There aren’t any records of Shakespeare’s birth, however it is believed by many that he was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. There are records of his baptism at the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford on April 26, 1564 leading to these beliefs because infants were supposed to be baptized three days after their birth back then (“The Life of William Shakespeare”).
Scholars don’t know that much about Shakespeare’s childhood either because there are very few records to know for certain about this time in his life. There are also no records of his schooling; however it is believed that he attended the local King Edward VI grammar school from approximately age seven to fourteen, being that was the norm for young boys during this time period (“The Education of William Shakespeare”). People doubt William’s work because they believe that he had no other former education after he finished grammar school for those few years in childhood.
At the age of eighteen, he married twenty-six year old Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582. Just a few short months later, she conceived their first child, Susanna, on May 26, 1583. Later, on February 2, 1585, twins Hamnet and Judith were born. His only son, Hamnet, died in childhood at the early age of eleven (“William Shakespeare Biography”). They aren’t reall...

...e and even several years where there are no records at all, however scholars have used what evidence they do have of his life and tried to out together the pieces to as much of it as possible. Shakespeare’s plays will continue to be performed world-wide for many years to come, and his works will always remain popular. He was a literary genius.
