Why Trust Salespeople?
The sales industry is filled with people trying to make sales and gain trust from random strangers without thinking if you need the services or goods they sell to you. In the presence of a salesman, most people have a feeling of being pressurized using twisted truth to buy things, and salespeople go a step further to convince us of the benefits of making the purchase. People find it hard to trust sales professions particularly due to annoying situations whereby the sales people promise particular features that were later not available after one made a purchase. Bias, in this case, means that the salesman is just interested in making their commission and does not care if the customer is stupid or intelligent. Salespeople are targeted to sell, and if people know this, they would no longer have to trust salespeople and their ever real testimonials. The only time a salesperson can be trusted is when you have not bought the product they are promoting as that is the time they use to gain your attention (Anderson, 2016). Most people complain about the after service provided after a sale implying that after most companies have made a deal, they are no longer interested in answering your questions as a client and such results in a negative customer perspective. Salespeople tend to convince us to spend financially, so there are high chances they will not explain or touch on the technical side of the sale such as operating machinery, maintenance, and ensuring durability. It is clear that the desire of a salesman is to sell everything they can sell to you and it can not go beyond that
