There are many reasons as to why trespassing is bad. It is illegal, it can be dangerous, it is not your place to be and you could cause damages that someone else will have to fix. Also, it will give you a bad reputation with colleges, employers, and in relationships with friends, family, or a significant other. Trespassing is illegal because you are on property that belongs to someone else without their knowledge or consent. You can be arrested, charged, and prosecuted or sentenced just for trespassing which will end up on your record as a criminal offense and ruin your reputation. I want to be a good role model for my little cousins and for them to be able to look up to me. I dislike that my mother is wondering how she could have done something different so that I would not have acted the way I did and done the things that I did, it is not her fault. My family is also disappointed in me because I was their little girl that never did anything wrong and all of a sudden I am being arrested for trespassing. Disappointing your family is one of the worst feelings I can imagine and makes me regret my actions. Not only is my family affected but also my friends. They are now seen as associates with a criminal and it ruins their reputation as well. In my case, my best friend was with me when the trespassing occurred so her family, friends, and reputation are also affected. Some people or friends might say that it is cool to have been arrested but it is nowhere close to cool. I am ashamed of my actions and just going through the process of being arrested and booked scared me half to death. In this essay I propose to evaluate two perspectives of social control which will be right realism and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and their views on crime and social order. Right realism is a theory on why crime happens and CPTED tries to minimize the opportunity of crime.
By definition, burglary is typically defined as the unlawful entry into almost any structure not just a home or business with the intent to commit any crime inside not just limited to the crimes of theft or larceny. No physical breaking and entering is required for it to be considered the crime of burglary. The suspect may do something as simple as trespassing through an open door at someone’s house, or an open door in the back of a restaurant. Unlike robbery, which involves use of force or fear to obtain another person's property, there is usually no victim that is present during a burglary and that’s what makes it different from other crimes with similar motives.

I used to hang out with a group of so called friends; who were on probation constantly, and most of the crime my friends committed was theft, drugs and drinking alcohol. They would steal the expensive smoking pipe from the tattoo place without care if anyone is watching them. Being around with them, I started to develop the habit of stealing. I had caught once by the police, and they gave me a warning, since the item that I stole weren’t valuable and weren’t expensive. After my friends arresting, they went through the probation process where the officer interviewed them about the crime, school attendance, and living situation, and other topics. Life is bursting with temptation everywhere and based on peer pressure, if you can’t get something you want you rather find another way to get it. Individuals of the community rather act out of action without thinking about it first, which can lead them to the severe consequences of their actions. Then you later think what I did was wrong, I could have prohibited that by doing it differently. Afterward, you feel a great deal of emotions running through your mind; encumbrance, sorrow, and helplessness. These reactions cause you to overthink and make you feel compunction than you already feel. Hunting is a good thing and shouldn't be gotten rid of due to four main facts: it is a way of life, it can control animal populations, it is a job for some people, and it helps people physically.
According to Farrington, Murray, and Sekol (2012), children are likely to experience stressful life events before and after parental incarceration. Following incarceration, children can experience problems like, but are not limited to, traumatic separation, reduced income, and loneliness (Farrington et. al. 2012). Farrington, Murray, and Sekol found that the circumstances under which children experience parental incarceration vary from child to child, but experiencing incarceration can lead to negative changes in antisocial behavior in children. Dallaire, Thrash, and Zeman, found that incarcerated specific experiences make children more prone to maladjustment than environmental experiences do (2015). Additionally, Borowski, Dallaire, and Zeman studied the effects of maternal incarceration in the context of a child’s socialization, examining emotion socialization of children with incarcerated mothers, finding that higher levels of incarceration-specific risk index predicted low emotional regulation in children (2016).
Between 1990 and 2007, the number of children under 18 years old with an incarcerated parent in the United States increased from 945,600 to 1,706,600, reaching 2.3% of the nation’s children (Glaze & Maruschak, 2008). These children can suffer from traumatic separation, loneliness, stigma, confused explanations to children, unstable childcare arrangements, strained parenting, reduced income, and home, school, and neighborhood moves. (Murray, Farrington, and Sekol 2012). Additionally, these children are put into high stress life events while their parents go through the process of being incarcerated and likely had other stressors before their incarceration. The behavioral effects of these children and their families have urgent social concerns, as incarceration effects go far outside of prison walls.
American literature often examines people and motives. In Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel, The Scarlet Letter, and in Arthur Miller’s dramatic classic, The Crucible, people and motives often depict patterns of Puritans struggling for life during a precarious time.
A controversial issue regarding the law has been whether it is ever right to disobey the law. Some people would argue that it is not always morally wrong to disobey the law. From this perspective, laws that are considered immoral or unfair hinder society through unnecessary restrictions. However, others argue that it is never right to disobey the law. Socrates, who maintains this view, discusses the issue of obeying laws in Crito by Plato, arguing that a citizen “[has] undertaken, in deed if not in word, to live [their] life as a citizen in obedience to us [the Laws]” (271). According to this view, obeying the law is a citizen’s duty, and a person who is not obedient to the law fails to fulfill his duty. In sum, the issue is whether disobedience of the law is moral or immoral.
The challenges of children who grow up with parents whom were incarcerated at some point in their childhood can have a major effect on their life. The incarceration of parents can at times begin to affect the child even at birth. Now with prison nurseries the impregnated mother can keep her baby during her time in jail. With the loss of their parent the child can begin to develop behavioral problems with being obedient, temper tantrums, and the loss of simple social skills. Never learning to live in a society they are deprived of a normal social life. “The enormous increase incarceration led to a parallel, but far less documented, increase in the proportion of children who grew up with a parent incarcerated during their childhood” (Johnson 2007). This means the consequences of the children of the incarcerated parents receive no attention from the media, or academic research. The academic research done in this paper is to strengthen the research already worked by many other people. The impact of the parent’s incarceration on these children can at times be both positive and negative. The incarceration of a parent can be the upshot to the change of child’s everyday life, behavioral problems, and depriving them a normal social life.

In the simplest form, crime is an illegal action which the societies do not support and government punishes for. Crimes and the criminal justice system are witnessed by society every evening newscast, and in every newspaper. The answer to crime seems to be more punishment, more security and, of course, more prisons. To deal with crime, the best way is imprisonment because prisons have many missions such as; punishment, deterrence and rehabilitation and also do a lot to solve the crime problems by using these missions.
