They love smiling to associates, but then turn around and talk about them to other corporates. Not to point out that, there are four to five managers who each of them are demanding one person to do a job for them. If they associate respond back with “ I am already doing another job” they will tell him or her to forget about that job and do theirs instead, then that leads to the previous manager, howling at the associate for not getting their work done. The worse part of it all, is that management does not speak to each other about the plan of the day. They walk around with radios, but refuse to communicate with each other. Instead, they go around grabbing associates from different department to get their job done for them. Another key point, is that management always seem to “forget” about giving holidays break to associate. They will even schedule an associate to come in on their day off, and when one complains to them about these issues, they get annoyed. Managers will also time associates for their breaks, fifteen minutes to be exact. Which all includes the long walks one have to make, to be able to get to the break room all the way on the other side of the store, and too bad if an associate have to use the
The simple question, is Walmart good for America. My classmates whose views differ from mine are more concerned with a few individuals that Wal-Mart may have had an adverse effect on. These people are only a small part of what makes up The United States of America, this question is for the greater good of the country not a few individual who need to better adapt to changing times. Wal-Mart is good for America, because it keeps us involved in world trade, sustaining our economy, the corporation is groundbreaking constantly, applying new innovations and efficiencies, and it keep the interests of the consumer to heart.
There were no head cashiers available or supervisors who knew anything about the front end. At that time I was the only cashier who had been there the longest, so I was asked to try and be head cashier for the day. I did, and I knew what I was getting myself into. I was handed a set of keys and I was in charge of the entire front end. This was a job I had never done or been trained to do, It started out fine, no one had any problems, Three hours passed, and I ran into my first problem.

You must stop anything you are doing to help and check out customers. QT is know for their quick and friendly customer service. Their clercks are always fast and efficient.It is really hard to go to a QT and find a line. If you do it will not have more than 3 people in the line. They also can transfer easily from a register to another. Not many companies do that.Have you ever stand in line because someone was either looking for their card or their change and they are taking forever. In that case at QT the cleck would just jump to the other register wich is next to him and do help the next customer
To this day, when I walk into Wal-Mart and come face to face with a manager I once worked under they give me dirty looks. People report that managers will trash talk you to another job that applied for if that job contacts Wal-Mart about you. Wal-Mart has unrealistic workloads for some overnight stockers, their managers aren’t the best in the world, and their policies are harsh. This is why I constantly call Wal-Mart a communist regime; not because it shares the ideals but because it is just bad for everyone in general. Hopefully one day a high positioned power will restore the order and peace that once was Wal-Mart according to the history they teach you in training and that their policies and workloads may become more realistic and doable.

Walmart’s policy emphasizes values such as honesty, respect and deems sexual harassment, violence and any form of bullying unacceptable. The tone of this policy was conversational tone, but with a seriousness and that’s what took awhile the sternness which made it feel more negative because they're trying to be too friendly. I feel that if I was working at Walmart I would abide by these policies because If I put the company’s business out for people to see on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, and etc. You can get terminated from your job and also go to court just for even talking bad about your manager saying something racist about your fellow

In a merely three years from that, Wal-Mart opened their own store in Mexico City, Mexico; making Wal-Mart an international corporation. Not even sixty years has past, and yet, Wal-Mart is over-powering our country.
It’s a place everyone knows, much like the post office or even city hall. Wal-Mart. That is where the oddity lies, in the fact that a retail store is just as well known as staples for towns across the nation; not to mention the fact that Wal-Mart isn’t just in the United States, but around the world. Founder of the billion dollar industry, Sam Walton, did expect success from his endeavor, but no one could have foreseen just how influential the retail store would be. Wal-Mart is an astonishingly successful business with humble beginnings, but may have a rocky road ahead in terms of social issues due to the treatment of employees and it's strong effects on the economy.
Few companies create as much controversy as Wal-Mart has done with its approach to maintaining high profits with low costs. Individuals either love or hate Wal-Mart. There are consumers who like the low prices and convenience of shopping at Wal-Mart. Supporters of Wal-Mart also laud the fact that the company creates multiple jobs for not just the individuals who are employed within the stores but also those who create the products that are sold in the stores. Critics of Wal-Mart have issues with the treatment of those individuals who work at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has a poor track record when it comes to Fair Labor Practices by giving low wages, bad healthcare coverage, and treats employees. Low wages, no benefits, irregular schedules, and unreliable hours are just some of the horrible working conditions most Walmart workers have to endure.
From this, it is clear that not everyone is a fan of the company. But where are this perspective coming from? It is just as likely for them to be from a biased outlet as the information they’re presenting being false. However, these perspectives can be easily counteracted by opposing ideas. One of which being the author stating the so-called “investing over $2.7 billion in wages” plan. Which I can confirm is true. In addition, since this plan was introduced in 2015, it has had a positive impact on the companies sales both in stores and online. The 200 training centers opened in 2015 as mentioned by the author, was a positive implementation in order to increase the minimum hourly rate. Before of which, had been a common complaint and issue associated with the company. Not only this, but there were endless complaints made about the company’s employee treatment, but it seems as though Walmart has acknowledged these complaints and in recent times has taken a step in the right direction. The author had not addressed much factual information regarding its suppliers and rather the “goals”
which seems as if the employees don’t even want to be there much less happy and helpful.

The first reason that new employees who work at stores are annoying is because they are not aware of their surrounding of the store. For instance, the employees do not know around the stores so they cannot help us. The employee also cannot point out where things are and it takes much longer. Also, if the employees do not know the building, then they still want to help the customer by taking them around the whole store to get them something. Lastly, in the store, there would be only one new employee for that department, and if the shopper asked them something, they would respond, “Sorry, I Cannot help, I am new” to the buyer. Now the customer has no one to ask, and this is bad service. Clearly, having new store employees at a store is very frustrating. Not only are having new store workers frustrating, but also having people walk violent dogs in public.
