Martin Luther King Jr. was an amazing historical figure. He has changed every single person’s life in the U.S. He had made life as equal as he could, putting all he had in his speeches. Martin has done so much for us to this day. Without him you probably couldn’t talk or see many of your friends. He has inspired many, and loved by most! Martin Luther King Jr. was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement. He gave his inspiring “I have a dream” speech in 1963 on the day of August 28 inspiring so many people. It was held in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. He explained how he wanted blacks, whites, and all races to get along and be around each other. Everyone knows that one day people get off work or school to either walk the bridge or just spend time with family. Yes, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. H is the only African American to have his birthday as a national holiday. King was a Baptist minister before he became I civil rights movement leader. He did this most of his life after his college career. He was a strong believer in God and the Bible in till his assassination in 1968. So, that is all summed up by saying everyone’s lives was changed by this one amazing year. He was so devoted to his speeches, protests, strikes, and more. He did everything to give his opinion to the world and he will always have that accomplishment. He has inspired so many other people to stand up for equality and we are getting more and more equal every day. Everyone is thankful for him, and proud of his amazing, wonderful accomplishments.
