It can be difficult when women start to lose their hair. It's often unexpected and devastating. It can start with a thinning along a woman's natural part and expand through the entire scalp. It's often so devastating because women don't realize that hair fall can be something that impacts them.

Each day, women lose approximately 100 hairs. They come out naturally throughout the day, but if you've noticed a widening of your part, thinning hair, less hair in your ponytail or more hairs being lost in the shower, it could be an indication of a problem.

While some women lose their hair because of a genetic condition, many times it can be due to other health problems.
