Most people that are striving to enter into any part of the medical field do so for the love and compassion for others. Wanting to help others, especially in a time of need and also being able to work with others who share the same interests and goals. In general, being able to have a career in doing what they love and believe in, but for me there is so much more than that. At first glance I probably seem quite similar to any of the other applicants that are probably well deserving in their own rights; although I have a unique background all my own that tells a story of why I am here, seeking opportunity. My personal experiences however, do set me apart. I did not always seek a career in radiology. My first semester in college I was actually striving to be a paralegal and quickly realized that although I have a talent for paying attention to small details and great communication skills, that particular career was not the way I wanted to utilize those natural talents. This forced me to really look deep within myself and figure out what career would give me a true sense of fulfillment, success and happiness; this led me to the Nursing field.
