Although reptiles such as large snakes and monitors may scare people, I don’t mind them, I personally love them. After college, I would like to become a veterinarian and be able to work with many different types of exotic animals. Growing up, I’ve kept many different types of animals which has made me capable of caring for them already. If I were to become a veterinarian, I would be capable of caring for many different types of animals, that I have yet to have or see. My love and passion for animals has guided me to want to become a veterinarian. Becoming a veterinarian and working with a variety of different species is my ultimate goal in life.
Because I have had many different types of animals, over the past years I have became capable of caring for any species I come across. I am currently eighteen and have had a wide variety of dogs, reptiles, and other small pets. The dogs I have had over the years has ranged from small breeds like Dachshunds, to larger breeds like German Shepherds, and Pitbulls. Within the reptile species, I have kept a large variety of geckos, chameleons, turtles, tortoises, and other lizards which I feel would be an asset in aiding me in becoming an

Since a young age I have loved animals, most animals are typically well natured unless cared for wrong. My passion for animals first began with dogs; I love Pitbulls, they are horribly misrepresented, but in my opinion are a great breed of dog. From dogs, I took an interest in reptiles, I first began with turtles then further progress and now I have many geckos and larger lizards. My mom has always supported my passion for animals; she has always helped me care and get what I need for my animals. My mom has helped me get to where I am and has aided me, and encouraged me to want to become a veterinarian. For these reasons, my passion and love for animals has led me to want to become a
For as long as I can remember, my childhood dream has always been wanting to become a veterinarian. While other kids were outside having fun at the playground, I was at the library reading books and learning about the different animals. However, as I matured, I realized that being a veterinarian isn’t just about caring for and assisting injured animals. Being a veterinarian means having the ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations, showing complete dedication and passion to this profession, and being able to effectively communicate to pet owners.
For someone to be a large animal veterinarian and do the job well, one must have a passion for animals. You must have business skills and interpersonal skills. You need a passion for animals because you will work with them everyday for the
Many people have lost their pets and close family members because there is no way to get the help or medical attention that the animal so desperately needed. To become a successful veterinarian one must complete all necessary education and on the job training, be friendly and love animals, and have a burning passion to help both the pet and the pet owner.
The Dental Hygiene program was established in 1934 and in within 10 years there will be a need for more dentists. Picking a career in today’s work world can be very hard. By knowing what your interests are and additional information about specifics of your career can help make the process easier. As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist, there are many duties that will be required for the worker to complete. There is also a great amount of education and training that is required and last but not least, there are many benefits that come along with the job. I think that being a Pediatric Dental Hygienist is the right career for me because working with kids is something that I enjoy and I have always loved going to the dentist ever since I was a young child.
The career I want to pursue is dental hygiene. Hygienist remove deposits from teeth and help people practice good hygiene on their teeth and mouth. They also use devices and instruments to clean and polish teeth. Hygienist is allowed to use X-ray machines and can take dental pictures. In some states, hygienists can do fillings and polish mental restorations. They also have to have a connection with the patients to ensure that their oral health is in good condition. Their work environments are well-lighted and clean. Material used to help keep the hygienists from being sick is: gloves, mask, and safety glasses. Dental hygiene is perfect for me because the scheduling is flexible. Dental Hygienists ensure that your teeth are healthy so you won’t get sick. A dental hygienist is
I have always had a passion for animals. As a young child, I was convinced I constantly needed new animals, but we never had the space to care for them. In an effort to fill my desire to be involved with animals, my mom decided to sign me up for English horseback riding lessons. Although I never really believed I would enjoy English riding, I went to the horse barn about two times a week to practice. Over time, I learned to enjoy the sport and I created a bond with the horse I rode; he became my best friend. We went to competitions almost every single weekend and I won multiple awards. When my parents separated I had to stop competing. I was devastated to leave the behind the horse I had grown to love, however, I knew that this would not be the end of my future with animals.
All of us who entered this profession did so because we followed a dream, a passion we simply love dogs. So much so, we have opted to make them our career. Not all careers or job opportunities start this way. Those of us who have chosen this path are truly fortunate to be able to follow our
I can 't recall when I realized both my parents were veterinarians. Their work was simply a part of my life and brought me exciting and wondrous moments such as holding a newborn puppy after a tough delivery or seeing the outcome of a difficult surgery. I grew up on a ranch with many animals, large and small. Numerous other animals were brought home for either treatment or to be fostered while finding a home. My first real job was working summers at my parent’s animal hospital. I always assumed having and caring for animals was normal. In retrospect, I was incredibly lucky to have had such unique opportunities to experience veterinary medicine first hand under my parents guidance.
In one way or another, I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Growing up, I was completely dedicated to animals, caring for what could be considered a mini zoo. Naturally, as a child, I was set on a career as a veterinarian. Like most children, I was naive about the veterinary profession, but I had plenty of people to warn me about its challenges. Albeit initially discouraged from becoming a veterinarian, my search for a meaningful career not only revived my spark for veterinary medicine but also gave me the maturity and experience necessary to succeed in it.
I am extremely interested in pursuing my life career as a veterinary technician because I believe any animal’s welfare and stability is just as important as a human being’s. I absolutely...
I was so gleeful when we got her. I’ve had a love for animals ever since that day. I’ve always pictured me in the future becoming a vet, helping people and helping their beloved pets. I’ve had many encounters with a variety of animals, such as horses, dogs, cats, pigs, etc. I’m excited for the thrill of this adventure.
I am currently a member of North Carolina State University’s Turtle Rescue Team (TRT), which is responsible for rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating different species of turtle in the Triangle area. TRT has provided the opportunity to perform surgery, shell repairs, and administer medications. Veterinary students facilitate TRT so we are responsible for all assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. TRT has allowed me to become knowledgeable in proper handling of reptiles and diet
Although I do not have a clear vision of what field I would like to go into in the future, I do have many interests and passions leading me towards discovery. One of which is my passion for animals. I have always had an interest in animals, which sparked from having pets at home as well as pet sitting for many of my neighbors. Sophomore year, I was introduced to biology for the first time, and found that the class was quite interesting to me. But, I found that I was more interested in learning about animal biology than human biology.
Ever wondered what it’s like to have a job? First, you have to find a job that you like and fits you well. Even though there are millions of jobs out there to choose from, you don't want to get stuck with a job that you don't like, do you? Thats why you need to be sure you get acceptable grades and go to college. Getting a job requires lots of responsibility; therefore; you need to get prepared and have an idea on what you want to be or do. A job also requires strong work and determination if you want to keep a job. Having a job that fits your personality will help you pick a job that you will most likely love. The majority of the great paying jobs requires you to have an A-B average and a college degree of some sort. You need a job to receive money so you can buy the items you need on an everyday basis. If you are planning on having a good future, then getting a job is probably your main priority. The job I chose was to be a zoologist. I want to be a zoologist because i've always loved working with animals, and I love caring them, helping them, and making sure they live an excellent life. Zoology requires a bunch of responsibility like the majority of jobs, but I don't mind that because it will be a job that I will love.
