Recommended: Impact of games on youth

School sports are very essential for schools around the country. It is a way for all of the students to bond and cheer on there high schools team. Most of the schools around the state of North Dakota have a sports program. Every day there is a game there is excitement all around the school waiting for the opening kickoff or the opening tipoff. During the game the student sections from each side chant back and forth to each other. It gives the players on the field a boost of confidence knowing that there school is cheering them on. When a very bitter rivalry game is about to start you can hear both of the student sections trying to get their team pumped up.

School sports are a way for the students to get active and spend time with friends while cheering on there own school. It also is a way to make new friends. You can meet lots of people while playing a sport. You might even end up playing with that guy from the other team one day. It can even give somebody a chance to get a scholarship and go to a college that they dreamt of when they were younger. …show more content…

I know I would feel very sad. I love the sport of hockey. If that were taken away from me I honestly would not know what to do with my free time. I have hockey at least 5 days a week for 1 hour.
