If you ask people that have read the book on what they say about the book this might be what they say that it wasn't right for George to kill Lennie. It wasn't right because George planed to kill Lennie. George wasn't the only one to kill someone or something in the story. George is only for himself. he protected Lennie, but at the end of the story he killed Lennie. First George planed to kill Lennie which is murder. George stole curly's pistol before killing Lennie. The sent Dr.Kevorkian to jail for assisted suicide. No matter what you're still a murder to the law. Lennie he killed a little puppy by accident unlike George, Lennie didn't plan to kill it. Lennie also killed Curley's wife by accident, only because he got scared. Carlson also killed something, but nothing happened to him, he killed candy's dog with a pistol. At the same time George was just trying to help Lennie out by killing because he knew that Curley would kill him. George was the only person in the story who was selfish. George was only working with Lennie to keep him out of trouble. George was only working for the money that's all he cared about. If George cared about Lennie then he wouldn't have killed him. George just wanted Lennie for the extra money for the farm. George did take care of Lennis for most of his life because Lennie's aunt died. In conclusion Most people say it wasn't right for George to kill Lennie. George just wanted Lennie for the extra money. George was planning on killing Lennie because he stole curley's pistol.
