Many people across the globe have come across teachers that are mean, rude, and aren’t teaching their students the way most children would allow. A fraction in our community believe that children should be teached the way teachers want to teach them and that a childs opinion would not matter in a classroom. If a student doesn’t inform a teacher that they are doing something wrong when they are the child could be confused and not know what is going on- in other words the child could fail, when a teacher per sae would give out reports or grades to their students the child would be anxious to know if they are doing something right in the class or if they are failing, and a teacher would never know if they are doing something wrong unless a child tells them so. Students should be able to grade their teachers and tell them what they are doing wrong or right. …show more content…
Not telling your teacher or grading your teacher on what they are doing could result in a failure by them not knowing what they are doing wrong. Not telling a teacher if they are telling wrong problems or saying the wrong things could result in confusion. The confusion that a child could have would not be good unless they fixed it by grading their teachers on what they are doing wrong. All in all not allowing a child to grade their teachers would result in failure.
A teacher or a child could have anxiety resulting in failure or not knowing. Having anxiety is not a rarity when you are stressed. When you are stressed you tend to freak out and not knowing if you are doing something right as a teacher or a student. If a child was held back other students would pursue them as slower than others. The child would as of the children say him or she was. If children begin to call them names such as dumb they child would began to think they were so. Another child could pick on this child that was held back for being the same age as them but in a lower grade. This could result in the child feeling as if no one was there for them. Making the child feel as if everyone has turned their backs on he or she. As a result the child would develop low self - esteem as well as feeling as if they were a hinderance to others.

Many students face at least one important test in their life. And if that particular student is one of the many that experience test anxiety, this can affect the students test scores. Test anxiety can be caused by the lack of preparation by the student, but it could be caused by the fear of failure as well. Students have so much resting on college and their ability to do well, such as a good paying job to be able to support themselves. Test anxiety causes nausea, light-headedness, and it could even cause the student to have a panic attack.
Anxiety can be distressing for the body because of how the body reacts. Anxiety can sometimes be helpful for the body, “Normal anxiety is part of the body’s natural defense system. It's an alert to a threat that is unknown, vague, or comes from your own internal fears. While you are in this state, your feelings can range from a vague sense of worry to physical sensations such as a pounding heartbeat” (Fairview). The body can actually become stronger and overcome anxiety which is what Fairview is trying to state. conversely, the body can become very ill because of anxiety. Someone who experiences anxiety can have dizziness, sickness, racing heartbeat, sleeplessness, and very strong emotions. Some teenagers can even become hospitalized from anxiety and the stress that they have to go through. Students conversely have it harder than others, “A teenager named Jake took three AP classes and his teachers did not understand the amount of work he had on his plate with a job, extracurricular activities and the other classes that he had. Jake’s biggest fear was failure and he kept failing, he became very sick and was hospitalized for four days” (The New York Times). Jake was so overwhelmed with his classes, jobs, and extracurricular activities that the expectations of his parents and his teachers affected his physical and mental health. Other people can experience anxiety, but not even know they are experiencing it. The body can also go through dry throat, tense muscles, and sweaty palms. Others that have experienced anxiety for a while can cause other worse health issues such as digestion problems, weakened immune systems, problems falling asleep, and cardiovascular troubles (Denizet-Lewis). I believe that teachers should be graded by their students. I think that this is a good idea because teachers are graded, yes that is true, but they aren't graded by the ones who are being taught, and the ones that know how the teacher teaches and what the teacher teaches. A lot of the people who don’t like this idea are the teachers themselves, but the only reason that they deny it should happen is because they are afraid. Yes afraid of what they will be judged on. Afraid that the student that they gave the most detentions too will expel them from their job. Afraid that the things that they graded harshly will grade them harshly. People think that if this idea comes to reality then the teacher will give a poor student a good grade just so
Knowing that teachers lose or make money based off scores some people that would want to teach might not want to anymore. The reason parents should care is because kids in those classes that are trying to push their self to do good have stress on them. It's also unfair for teachers to not make what other teachers are making. Teachers should not be paid based off the grades students make on tests.

With the level of pressure there is for teenagers to be good students this affects their level of anxiety which makes learning harder for them. Students with higher level of stress tend to feel more anxious than other do to the pressures of being a student. Professor Eysenck argues (2009) “This shows that it is important that teachers focus not only on whether a student’s academic performance seems to be OK but also on how much effort the student had to put in to achieve that level. Students who have academic anxiety also have a higher risk of developing depression, and often feel deprived of confidence (Cunningham, 2008). Thus, academic anxiety can become extreme, and have negative effects of students’ well being.
Students will become flustered with all the information they should know but do not. Students will be tied up trying to learn the information that their peers already know to catch up and learning the new information will be put on hold. Putting the new information on hold will cause stress to build up as they try to catch up. Falling behind will set them up for failure resulting in no improvement from the previous grade. Most importantly, advancing the child may lower their self-esteem if it is too difficult.
It is a teacher’s responsibility to properly prepare and educate their students. In some cases this can prove to be difficult for an educator. As a student, you may find that your teacher may not be giving you enough attention or specific one-on-one time. This is where student grading could come in handy. Many educators might fear negative feedback because they often do the best that they can with the abundance of responsibilities they already have; but others strongly believe that teachers shouldn’t be above criticism, and should ask their students for this constructive feedback on their performance. This could help improve the nation’s educational system if conducted properly. It would also help the students and the teachers to sort out their true priorities in the classroom. All in all, teachers need to be viewed as professionals and not as simply pay babysitters because most do care about the students. Teachers tolerate the low wages, long hours and repetitive disrespect because they desired to place attention on student success. Teachers should not enter that career for the money, but for the devotion they will place on the students. Luckily there are ways to make teachers more valuable in society. Teachers should be given the right equipment to teach the subject that corresponds to them, the two-year skill evaluation should be more precise and by surprise, so no one knows. Also, students should be allowed to evaluate the teachers to provide feedback. Also, teachers should be aware of the surrounding cultures. In conclusion, teachers should motivate students to reach levels they themselves never thought they could attain.
