Can you tell me why cell phones are so bad in school? I think they are a great way to learn or get informed of emergencies. Imagine you are sitting in class and the teacher asks a question.You could easily pull out your cell phone and look it up and find even more information on the subject than you were looking for. Or you are sitting in class and you get a text alert. You look at your phone and it says “Your dad is in the hospital.” What is so bad to simply reply to the text? Is something wrong with that? You should be able to be on your phone in school because of the wider access to information, the increasing number of educational apps, and in the case of an emergency situation. The increasing number of educational apps is a great way for kids to learn in a new style.Many people believe that cell phones are just a distraction in the classroom. People don’t believe that they can be used to help students.( education.cu-portland.edu )People say that because of texting and all the apps.
