Born Bad? Are people born bad? Many factors decide can why people are bad, but no one can just be born bad. For example, when someone is born the first concern that influences the child is the parents. As the child grows up, even more influential events come into play such as friends, society, and how their life is at home. Others think people are destined to be bad because scientists believe that they have located genes that are responsible for rage and violence. Today that question will be answered. Are people undoubtedly born bad? A great deal of people try to blame the children's parents, friends, and society on why the child is awful, but no one can ever look at a child when they are first born and say, “That child is bad.” (Goldhill 1) They cannot do that simply because there is no proof of how that child will turn out when the child grows up. The influence can either be good or bad The child pays close attention to the parents and as it grows up and it models itself after them. If the parents are always stressed out, then the kid will always be stressed out. If the parents are always mad and angry at each other, then the kid will be mad and angry towards others. There are some benefits of parents arguing. The child can see how conflicts are resolved and apply that knowledge later on in life. In some cases the parents can raise the children in a loving and caring home and the child will still turn out awful. For example, Gloria Harding raised her son named Bobby in a perfect home where he was the perfect child, but grew up as an uncontrollable teenager. His older sister is a responsible mother while Bobby is out of control. They think that Bobby may have just been a “bad seed.” (Harding 1) Parents can be blamed for a child's poor behavior, but sometimes the child is uncontrollable and will not listen to their parents no matter
