Not every person can live up to their parents expectations, but I will always be thankful to my parents for this. Their high expectations have molded me throughout my years to be the best person I can possibly be and will continue to be. They have taught me the right thing from the wrong, and even now when they get disappointed in something, they don’t try to bring me down but on the contrary, they try to comfort me and even sometimes tell me that I do not always have to live up to my own very high expectations of myself. I will forever be thankful to my parents, for I would not be the person I am today without them. Seeing them happy and proud makes me the happiest person in the world.
I’m thankful for child labor reforms that were developed throughout history allowing me not to have to work in such harsh conditions. These reforms allow me to obtain an education to strive in society today.
Thanksgiving is a good time for us to relax, spend time with family, and just take a moment to enjoy our lives. I am the most thankful for my supportive and loving family. My mother, most of all, has always showed me that kindness and compassion are two of the most important traits to have. Any idea I have or anything I’ve ever wanted to do in life, she has had my back and assured me that I can do whatever I put my mind to. She once said, “I don’t care if you ride on the back of a garbage truck for your whole life.
One of the things I’m thankful for is my family. I’m thankful for my mom because she never grounds me even if I get in trouble. She works for a long time to help support us. She also does lots of housework. I’m thankful for my dad because he works past midnight to support us.
The first thing I’m thankful for is my family and friends. The first reason is that they support me in everything I do. They teach me important life lessons. These lessons help me get through hard times in life.
The reason why I am doing M for my Mom is because there are many things in life that my mom has done for me that I would not be capable of doing myself. To give one example if my mom were to not be here right now I would not be able to have a roof over my head, clothes on my back, or even be here right at this moment. She is my lifesaver, she has been there for me ever since I was born. For me I would have to say that if a child is born without a mother then they would not be able to get through life as easily as, if they lived with there father. Mom’s are there for you 99.99% percent of the time for you, when you are feeling bummed out she is there for you, if you are having a bad day your mom will be there for you because that is why they

Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My children are the one thing that I am so very grateful for. That and the chance to be here with them to enjoy what life has to offer us all. I am grateful for the time I have been given to be with them.. Time was given to me and has given me a second chance to learn and be there to see my children become amazing adults. I have been here to see my children grow and watch them graduate and have their ups and downs in life.
Like all parents, mine have been here for me since the day I was born. They’ve created the best environment possible for my sister and I; they’ve given me everything I needed and a little more. My parents have taught me not to chase after dogs onto the highway. They’ve shown me how a lady acts and taught me the difference in being truthful and being rude. My parent even led me to the girl who’s changed my whole perspective on life.
The story I'm about to tell you isn't about me it's, more about two very important people I love very dearly and admire, which are my father and my mother. My father is from Cali Colombia, the city of salsa (dancing), my mother is from a small little town in Nayarit Mexico called Acaponeta. Maybe many people have a story or a true reason why they look up to their parents but mine are different from what I witness from my friends parents so nevertheless let me tell you the reasons my parents mean the world to me.
