Recommended: Impact of technology on education

Education plays an important role in today’s communities, and has influence past generations as well as futures. Students decide to continue their education after graduating high school for several reasons, but the most common ones are: to get a better life, and to have a higher income; perhaps some students feel their life is marvelous or they already got a well paid job. In my case, I believe my life is satisfactory the way it is, and my job open several doors; however, I am attending college because I want to gain more knowledge, be the role model of someone, and achieve my goals. Knowledge is one of the most important reasons why I am attending college. We could continue our live and move forward with a high school diploma, but would we be capacitated to be at the same level as our relatives or maybe as our children? The answer is no; it would never be enough since we live in a constantly changing generation were knowledge, believe it or not, plays a fundamental role. Smartphone, computers, and even everyday conversations would not seem as easy anymore. Thus, I prefer to be able to follow a conversation …show more content…

Making someone feel proud of you can give you the biggest satisfaction you could ever get. Now days society is passing through a time were social media can affect it develop and quality; children all over the world are exposed to all kind of information that can influence them on a negative way, as well as positive. I am a Journalism/Mass Communication major, and I would like to influence future generations all over the glove in a positive way through out social media. Being the inspiration for your love ones bring you a feeling of satisfaction, but being the inspiration them as well as communities, make you feel successful.
