Where Does Peyton Manning Rank All-Time on the NFL QB List?
There is no question that Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time. He holds the record for practically every single category for quarterbacks in the NFL. Manning holds the record for most career passing yards at 71,940, most career wins as a quarterback with 200, most career passing TDs with 539, most career 4,000-yard seasons with 14 and the list goes on and on. If so-called experts determine the greatest quarterback of all-time based on statistics alone, then Manning is the runaway winner. The problem is, statistics do not determine the greatest NFL players of all-time, championship rings determine the greatest of all-time, and Manning only has two rings. Peyton Manning is the third greatest quarterback of all-time. You cannot ignore the countless records that Manning holds, which is why he is in the top five with only two championships ahead of the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach and John Elway. However, Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all-time, and there is no comparison between him and Manning. Second on the list is Joe Montana.

Troy Polamalu and James Harrison are the two best players to ever play in the NFL because their team they changed NFL defenses, and are some of the strongest NFL players and are some of the best at their positions. The way they play the game of football is awesome they just stand out in the games. They also are really strong James Harrison is the overall strongest OLB/DE to play the game. Troy Polamalu is one of the most, if not the most versatile Strong Safety/Free Safety to play the game. There were two coaches who coached them Bill Cowher, Mike Tomlin. Wayne Gretzky was a leader, and although his character as a person cannot be measured by mere statistics, he sure has some outstanding ones. However, this definitely was not the last award Gretzky would receive.

That season he earned a First Team All-AFC, led the AFC in touchdown passes, and earned the Broncos offensive MVP. In 1974, he led the NFL in yards per pass attempt with 8.1 yards. In 1975, he played his final season and retired. He became the Broncos quarterback coach for the 1976 season, then retired from that right after. In 1977, the Broncos went to their first super bowl, the year after Charley Johnson retired. He ranks 7th in most touchdowns by a Broncos quarterback, and 9th in most yards. In 1986, Charley Johnson was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame.
He has set just about every record in the NHL, or gave the holder a good fight, and has skills in every aspect of the game, not just those of a forward. Wayne has received countless amounts of awards from most goals scored in a season, to the most gentlemanly player award, which no other player has even come close to obtaining, and he has won more championships and Stanley Cups than anyone has ever needed to. His high school, Hancock North Central, honored him this past May by re-naming the field, 'Brett Favre Field,' and unveiling a life-sized statue of the quarterback at the stadium's entrance. The school previously had retired his jersey, Number 10, in 1993. He stayed in the south to go to college where he went to Southern Miss. He became the starter at Southern Miss in his third game of his freshman season. Favre majored in special education. He led his Southern Mississippi team to 29 victories, including two bowl victories, during his four varsity seasons, 1987-90, and climaxed his collegiate career by earning a MVP award in the East-West Shrine game featuring the nation's best seniors. Favre set school records for passing yards (8,193), pass attempts (1,234), completions (656), completion percentage (53.2), touchdowns (55), and with only 35 interceptions. His production included five 300-yard passing games and five 3-TD performances, while his 7,695 regular-season passing yards ranked him among the top 30 of all-time NCAA passers. His 1.57 interception ratio in 1988 was the lowest among the 50 top-ranked passers in the nation, and his 2.9 interception rate for his four-year career also ranks as one of the best in NCAA history. Not only did he start off young as a football star, but he also was able to become a pro baseball player as well. Ever since high school he's been a star: his goal was to become a famous, wealthy, and admired athlete. Playing both football and baseball, he was able to achieve this goal. Sanders is the only man to play in both a Super Bowl and a World Series. He became an all star from a young age, playing basketball, football, baseball, and track. He was able to letter in all sports and took his skill and talent with him to Florida State University to further his career. Though he had all this success, Deion Sanders eventually ran into his own problems and drama creating much controversy, marriage and religious conflicts, and almost ending his career. But he was able to learn from these experiences and shape his future in a positive way.

Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.

With the three Super Bowl wins Jerry Rice was one of the best Wide Receivers in the world. In the 1988 season Jerry led the 49ers to the Super Bowl. He caught 11 passes in the game and was named Super Bowl MVP. Jerry also played with other teams such as the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks. In 2010 Jerry Rice was inducted in the Pro Hall of Fame.
What truly is amazing is the person Tim Tebow represents off the field. He is a devout Christian who works to spread his religion and give hope to those in need. Tebow has been involved with controversy that started in his days in high school, due to a law in Florida that allowed him to pick his high school. Tebow is possibly the only player to be under national scrutiny from his high school playing days through his career in the NFL both on and off the field. Most of this controversy is because of his faith and how he displayed it on field. The best way to describe him is to say that he is a polarizing person and player in the sense that people either love or hate him. Tim Tebow is, indeed, a great person and role model on the playing field as well as off of it.
