What are the major theories explaining the disappearance of dinosaurs?

600 Words2 Pages

Dinosaurs use to cover this earth. Where are they now? Sixty-five million years ago dinosaurs became extinct. The most popular theory as of now is said to be an asteroid theory. Which was the last period of the Mesozoic era? Other theories was said to be a volcanic activities, ice age, disease, change in DNA of dinosaurs cells and even a gradually change in climate. Geologic events also played a role. It is up to me and my team to find out.
Dinosaurs are no longer with us. We often overlook the reason they are not here or why they became so extinct. According to the asteroid theory a large collision between earth and an asteroid threw up so much dust into the air that it made it impossible for sunlight to get to earth. This was said to been happened sixty-five years ago during the Mesozoic era.
Being that there was not enough sun light it made it impossible for plants and animals to survive. Which lead to a deadly chain of events. Without the sun, all the plants died; without the plants, all the plant-eaters died; and without the plant-eaters, all the meat-eaters died. Which sounds quit reasonable. Some evidence even seems to indicate that all the dinosaurs had died before the meteorite hit. This change was said to be too much for dinosaurs to survive.
Another theory we developed was a huge theory on the increase in volcanic eruptions. Tens of thousands of years of lava flow from the Deccan Traps, a volcanic region near Mumbai in India, may have spewed poisonous levels of sulfur and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and caused the mass extinction through the resulting global warming and ocean acidification.
We discovered that during the time of the dinosaur’s disappearance a volcano had erupted. Being that it was huge clouds...

..., very, very, helpful to us. Then again it could have been a reason they became so extinct. My team is still on the go to figure out what might have happened. These dinosaurs may have become very dangerous or harmful to us humans.
We are still under investigation to what might have happened. Whatever it was it was very severe and caused us to lose an animal that could have been very stressful to us today. Although we might never find out. It is always good to know and be aware to what might have happened to our dinosaurs.
