1. Introduction What is virtual reality (VR)? There are tons of definitions been searched easily by surfing the internet. Actually it is from both the word ‘virtual’ and ‘reality’ which means what we see through the 3-dimensional view near and reality is what we experience as human beings. It allows us to see the surrounding world in another dimension and to experience things and sensation that are not accessible in real life or even not had been created yet. First of all, VR support the system of the treatment for amblyopia or so-called lazy eye. Lazy eye is a type of vision condition in which there is blurry or vision reduced and is not amenable by glasses, contact lenses or eye surgery (Susan, 2009). ). Therefore, there is a brand new technology called I-BiT which is a virtual reality (VR)-based system to cure amblyopia through playing the special video game and watching some kind of 3D-animation during the treatment. Besides, there are many institutions has been introduce the VR-based education system which are really effective and more interesting than what usually the teaching way we saw in school. Besides, there are many studies have been conducted on the applications and effectiveness of VR in education and training since the 1980s. McLellan (1996, 2003) provides comprehensive and in-depth reviews of the literature related to the research and use of virtual reality for education and training. In nowadays, technology offers great advantages for authentic learning environments that were not available before. So, this is why I wonder and should I discover for in this research. VR is categorized as a communication tool and let people to experience the brand new sensation through the headset to see the different views and world that might not be find out in our real life. Moreover, VR has a higher technology system support computer and mobile-based to motivate and manipulate. In this case, I can conclude that VR is a successful invention and may bring a lot of advantages to different domain like education, medical treatment, business, communication technology and more in our future. That is why we should fully utilize the VR technology and not dominate by the myth that may affect people’s judgement to VR’s effectiveness
