Nobody is perfect. Everyone is capable committing mistakes. When a person has done wrong, he is expected to ask for an apology as way of showing that he is sincerely sorry. In the business world, a corporate apology is crucial because the mistake made might tantamount to losing a client which can be extremely costly for the companies (Modern Business Associates). From the point of view of the company president or the CEO, the corporate apology must give a detailed account of the situation. It must also include that the company acknowledges that damage has been done, asks for the client’s forgiveness, and that the former is ready to take full responsibility of the damage (Perfect Apology). Aside from that, the company must ensure the client that it will not happen again and provide the latter a restitution in order to retain the client's loyalty (Perfect Apology). The company president or the CEO must understand that keeping loyal clients does not rely solely on giving them satisfaction through the services the company provides. For consumers, it is important that the company is able to make them feel valued. When they complain, it must not be viewed negatively. The company must be able to address such complaint. When their concern is addressed immediately, the company is able to earn their respect and trust (Perfect Apology). The consumers would also want to hear from the company that it is sorry for the damage it has cause and the latter is willing to take full responsibility of the same. Consumers or clients would know that they are valued if the company is willing to compensate them for their loss.
