Fahrenheit 451 by American author Ray Bradbury was first published in 1953. It is set in an unnamed American city in a dystopian future where books are burnt and censorship is widely practiced. The storyline is centered around Guy Montag, a fireman who believes in the social structure of the time until he meets Clarisse McClellan, a seventeen-year-old girl who questions everything that Montag has ever stood for and leads to him questioning these things too.
