A life well-lived demonstrates a person’s ability to establish goals, embody confidence, a strong work ethic all based on an inner belief in oneself. A strong belief structure is vital to an ability to reach set goals as it provides the backbone of confidence and self-respect culminating in a strong sense of beliefs. The most productive way to ensure that a life is well-lived is to cultivate these beliefs and apply them to all aspects of life. Beliefs, an instinctual part of human nature, allows people to engage in self-talk, establish dreams and life goals, and work passionately toward their goals.

Every human has a personal belief structure—it’s just a part of human nature. Just as we believe the sun warms us, or rain nourished the land, we can then surmise that beliefs are in deed part of human nature thus is the backbone to determining and achieving goals. For this reason, a belief in oneself is a critical component to accomplishing goals. The way a person acts is based on their personal belief structure whether spiritually enhanced or basic human instinct, without beliefs we would be animals. This results in going to a great school, accomplishing their goal to get good grades and to go to a great college in order to study the practice of medicine. Without believing in himself, they’d never accomplish that goal. Once becoming a doctor at a hospital or private practice of any sort, whe or she will make money and this will make them feel a sense of pride and prosperity. When they help their patients, they gain respect from their patient and even themselves. People feel safe with them and it makes them feel accomplished.
