Introduction
This report investigates the topic of Water use in Australia and contains an interview and recommendations. Good environmental practices are very important when it comes to reducing, reusing and recycling water. Due to its special qualities, water is an important resource and is used in many ways. It is the essential ingredient for life on Earth. We use it in almost everything we do. We depend on it for drinking, eating, energy and transport. Animals and the environment need it as much as we do for survival.

Groundwater and surface water is a renewable source, but we are quickly losing a very big amount of it. If people pollute water or take too much fresh water from rivers or lakes, it can affect the animals and plants that rely on the water for their survival. (environmentalscience.org, 2017) Although water is renewable, it becomes difficult and expensive to reuse if it gets polluted, therefore a business or home that is reducing the amount of water is crucial for the conservation of water in Australia.
