Have you ever wondered if Napoleon was actually a hero, or a tyrant? Napoleon was a hero to the French because he led France to victory, gave his siblings countries, and he never left his army if he didn’t think he would win.

Napoleon was a hero because he led France to victory many times against many countries in Europe. When Napoleon won against Spain he was considered a hero because Spain was a hard country to conquer. He drove the Portuguese out of their land because they did not comply with the continental system. This supports my thesis that he is a hero because he defeated them and gave the land to his brother. He defeated so many countries because he liked his army, and they liked him back, they thought that if he was brave enough to fight on the front line he was good enough to be their leader and he also led them out of debt. …show more content…

He would conquer countries and give the land to his family, and cousins. An example of this is when he beat Spain and gave it to his brother. He defeated a country that didn’t need to be defeated, he just wanted the fame of conquering them, that is why he gave the land to his brother because he didn’t need it. Napoleon was a hero because he gave the land he conquered to his siblings. He didn’t even want the land he just wanted to be recognized and to not be messed with, and to be taken seriously. He didn’t care what people thought he just wanted the land to give to his family,
