Walt Disney was a man who has done many great things but he was also a racist and a sexist . Even though he did not like colored people and thought that men were better than women , he still accomplished a lot. In october 16 , 1923 he started his own company. in that company Walt Disney has made a various amounts of Legends characters and stories such as Mickey Mouse , Donald Duck, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. most of the stories Legends and characters still live on today in television and books.

Walt disney was born on December 5, 1901, in the Hermosa section of Chicago, Illinois. When he was born his given name was walter Elias . but he soon changed his name to walt disney .His father was Elias Disney, an Irish-Canadian, …show more content…

The laugh o grams were so popular there eventually was a laugh o gram studio. Sadly the studio shut down. Later on in his life he started his own company. He had one of the best motion Picture companies at that time. Even though he is known for the great that he has done he has been known to express Act of racism and sexism. At that point of time being racist and sexist was not uncommon because many people where.

He gained people's attention by making short films and expanding his company at an impressive rate . he made many characters such as Mickey Mouse Donald Duck. Some of his stories even became Legends such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He expanded the filming industry in many ways.Impervious to the bankruptcy, he aimed to set up a studio apartment in California .

Together with his brother Roy, and Iwerks, he opened Walter Elias Disney Comrade ’s Studio apartment .They entered into a distribution muckle with New York distributor Margaret Winkler for Walt's 'Alice Clowning ', an animated shorts based upon ‘Alice's Wonderland’. They invented a part , Oswald the Lucky Rabbit for which they contracted the shorts at $1,500 each. In 1925, he recruited ink and-rouge artist Lillian Bound, little knowing then that the two would become lifelong collaborator . He even created his own amusement park called Disneyland which opened on June 17th 1955. This amusement park has been running strong ever since and shows no sign of it's going
