My cousin was treated as a cruel person in my big family’s thinking due to his immoral behavior. My grandfather educated his parents and him for an hour because he called and reacted with older cousin as impolite. In Vietnamese culture, the vocative is very significant. It is highly appreciated and respected in a community. These social values are conducted from generation to generation. Parents always have to teach their children how to behave with others when they were little kids because society would appreciate our family education by their action. Although a modern life has changed our life style a lot compared with the old days, the discipline of each family is still indispensable. The vocative in Vietnam is very diverse compared with English. In English, we just use common words such as you for to talk with everyone, but in Vietnamese, we will call another differently when we communicate. We have many options to call other. If I talk with strangers, I will try to guess how old they are to behave in the right way with them. Many times I was wrong by guessing people ages, but as needed, I have to respect opponent people. For example, I was calling my old classmate as a young girl for a year until I knew her age. I deceived by her appearances and personality. She was short and acted like a teenager. Also, her face was too young to think that she was 2 years older than me. Hence, when she knew my reasons, she did not get mad at me. Moreover, if an employee wants to express her respect for me, she will call me as an older person. However, I cannot answer and communicate with her like she is younger than me. I have to react the same way she does to me because that is a rule in Vietnam culture. If I act like she is younger, she will see me as an impolite person. At the same time, peer pressure further exacerbates family and personal conflict. Adolescent within America culture seek self-reliance, subsequently they desire more control making decisions about their lives (Young, 1991). In addition, exposed to external subcultures and peer world, adolescents begin to feel separate themselves from their parents (Grosskopf, 2007). However, Vietnamese adolescents during this period are expected to assume adult responsibilities such as providing, sharing, and working for the family (Yang & Han 2007). All the while, their peers are exploring, questioning, and forming their own self-identity. They become entangle in a web of no end.

Poetic devices describe how in this case a song is formed. The three poetic devices that are included in this song are imagery, rhymes, and repetition. These three poetic devices are elements that make the song a stronger piece because of there definition.
The desolate and chaotic conditions of the society can have a significant amount of influence on the development on a certain character of a novel. For instance, at the time the novel, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky was written, the conditions of the setting, was very chaotic and was in turmoil. Crime and Punishment took place in Russia, where Russia during the time Crime and Punishment was written was suffering due to economical downfalls and failure of the poor reforms of Tsar Alexander II; ultimately transforming Russia into a poverty-stricken country. The failure of Alexander’s reforms affected much of setting in which Crime and Punishment was written in, which ultimately contributed in character development of Raskolinokov. This is evident through the use of metaphor, which Dostoevsky uses to compare the state of the country to Raskolinkov’s apartment.
William Golding , the author of The Lord of the flies believes that evil resides in all human beings. The Lord of the Flies begins softly but nearing the end everything turns upside down. But would the world be the same way it is today without societal structure and rules? Only through societal structure, rules and order will humans be thought morality/principal and proper behaviour. The Lord of the Flies demonstrates what society would look like/resort to without any rules or guidance for man to follow. Others might believe this is true because of natural evil and actions done by individuals, a comparison through savagery and civilization, and certain truths in the world that are evil.
Music has been affecting society throughout history. Music has been around since the beginning of time. The influence of music on modern society can be easily seen today. It has been proven that music has many influences on humans in positive and negative ways. Music has been proven to alter a person’s mood, and has shown to cause physical responses in many people simultaneously. The reason I say that is because they do not know that they are being insulted or understanding that they are forgetting something. Music can drive listeners to patriotic fervor or religious frenzy, or it can soothe the savage beast we call human. There have been many advances in technology that have let us study how music affects the brain. Music causes all sorts of activity in the brain, especially during musical improvisation. In my organization I have notices there are two specific cultural differences which include age differential and classification individuals are place into which includes: government civilians, military, and contractor. The military leaders are younger, while the civilians are becoming older, therefore it has causes a communication barrier because of the age. Being instrumental reflective has more weaknesses than strength. By interviewing three people with different communication styles, I realize the tendency and pattern of my own style. I identify the reflective side as the “real me” because I use it most of the time. It serves as a good listener along normal conversation with friends and family members because conflict seldom happens through this approach. The only weakness for the reflective side is lack of confidence when I communicate at workplace. The instrumental side appears only when there are conflicts and problems that need to be resolved. The above example from Enesha and Kathy clearly explains how I change to instrumental in a sudden.

He has been listed and ranked as one of the greatest artists of all time by many magazines, Selling more than 80 million albums and over 120 million singles worldwide. Being as well renowned as he is, he works as a clear-cut example of many other artists who are accused of being an influence for violence for the youth. Music much like everything else could be altered towards the bad however, it depends on what you take from it; even the youth should have a certain sense of differentiation, which in this case is being able to take the positive from rap.

Everyone is a part of a community. Most people are a part of multiple communities. A community is a group of people that have a commonality. Sometimes it is based on where you live, hobbies, goals, etc. I believe that communities are created unconsciously and are connected to someone’s identity, especially when a person is considered a part of multiple communities. Sometimes, a person may connect very well with their community. Sometimes, a person may feel very distant from their community. In the movie, “English Vinglish”, the main character, Sashi, shows examples on how communities are created through commonalities, and the acculturation theory.
