In general, in most cases a virtuous person makeup can be attributed to his or her childhood upbringing. Therefore, most parents start to shape their child personality at an earlier age because all parents want their child to be a good and moral person. In order to achieve success, children are taught the traits and characteristics of a virtuous person through constant repetitions. The children start to learn in their development stage to differentiate what is right and wrong and learned the consequences for making wrong decision. In short, parents are responsible for teaching their kids the attributes of doing good and must hold them accountable for their actions. In general, society is made up of all sorts of people from different backgrounds and cultures. In some cases, some cultures dictate how a person effectively communicate with other people from different races and how ones interact act with other would determine if that person is considered a virtuous person. In short, according to Aristotle in order for person to become a virtuous person that they must develop habits from childhood to adulthood of doing moral deeds (Nancy Moore, 1992, para 1). The art of doing good will start at a person’s childhood and the person will require constant supervision their upbringing must done in according with the rules of society. In the same way, a person does not become virtuousness or going good deeds naturally because we are giving a choice in life and people must choose to act in the way they do (Neher, W. W. Sandin, P.J., 2007, p. 23). Therefore, when people are having conversations they have a choice of practicing ethical communication or communicating unethically and requires a conscious choice to tell someone what we know is false (Neher, W. W. Sandin, P.J., 2007, p. 23). Therefore, after the Civil War President Lincoln developed a plan to reconstruct the South and the Reconstruction years after the Civil War lasted from 1865 to 1877 in which it affected the African American History significantly. In developing his plan, his main objective was to rebuild the literal and political landscape of the South and in 1863 he did a good and moral deed by introducing the Emancipation of Proclamation, which abolished slavery in the rebel-held states (Mullane, 1993, p. 293).
