In this scene where V has taken over BTN and i broadcasting his message throughout london, McTeigue shows us V on the television screen with a low angle shot. To make v look like he has sense of strength this is important because he is one person going up against the government that is made up of more people, who have the upperhand of already having molded the people of london but even tho Vis only one his Idea is strong enough to get everyone to come together(strength through unity)To overcome the government through is Idea, because if you have an idea that is worth sharing you need to take a stand because you won't have a McTeigue uses various wide and slight low angle shots to convey to us that the people who are watching the television (V) so intently that the media has a kind of power over its users, because this is the way the government has manipulated its peoples views especially the young people, the children, teenages. First a mid shot of the family of four-the mum, dad, a young boy and a young girl. Their faces are worried. The mother clutching her daughter, the young boy leaning towards the telle. Next is a panning shot of the people in the bar. We can see that they are interested as soon as the news reporter starts speaking, when Vs name is mentioned everyone is even more intrigued, their bodies stiffening the old people start muttering.the newsreport then flicks to images of ‘a daring police raid’ where we see a shaky mid shot of the broadcasting studio that v took over to broadcast his message.In the middle of this sequenc we gt a panning close up shot of the family of three, the parents and a young girl. The parns look very worried and their faces show us this but if we pause on the girl she is looking at the tv with disbelieve this gives us the impression that she thinks that the reporter is lying.
