Company overview
United Airlines operate approximately 4,500 flights a day to 337 airports across 5 continents. In 2016, United operated more than 1.6 million flights carrying more than 143 million passengers. United is proud to have the world's most complete route network, including U.S. mainland hubs in Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Washington D.C. and, San Francisco United operates 743 aircraft. The airline is a establishment member of Star Alliance, which offers service to 190 countries via 28 member carriers.

The main problem and the issue we are facing here is that the procedures was unethical. Oscar Munoz, CEO of United Airlines' parent company, reversed his previous stance of supporting the passengers' removal of Flight 3411, saying the airline now took full responsibility for the incident (ABC NEWS). And unjust the staff could have avoided a big disaster by using other messers. how do we as a company raise people awareness about our policy’s and procedures? what procedures do we have to take to assure our customers that they will be treated ethically.

Some people started to despise the company. And the video will remain as a bad historical aspect of the company that people will not forget. in addition, the economic factor was also damaged, for example people preferred the company’s competitors even though united airlines prices are better and they offered better deals, which lead to their market share to decrease significantly. Moreover, the request for forgiveness did not prevent United Continental Holdings Inc stocks from falling 1.13 per cent overnight. The stock is fell about 3 per cent for the year. On Wall Street, UALs stock price fell to $ US70.70 down from $ US73.80 as recorded at market closure on Friday on same week of event (ABC NEWS). Morally it was wrong to treat the passenger the way he was treated, which also affected the other passengers negatively, and customers should be the priority on the airline (higher than the staff), on the matter of safety airlines should cooperate with aviation security officers to enhance the costumers experience, legally airlines should revise their policies and be held accountable for problems on their planes.
