The unemployment rate plays a major role in the country’s image. Being unemployed is probably the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Being unemployed means that the person either has no job or the employer has released them. Many different things affect the unemployment rate. For example, companies not making enough profit or people not willing to work for minimum wage and many other reasons are factors that affect the unemployment rate. The unemployment rate has created chaos through the whole country with the percent of unemployment decreasing, because the government does not provide the real information, unemployment rate is affected the most when people stop searching for jobs or when the government provides false information. During situations like this a large amount of people end up without a job which affects the people because they can’t provide their families with financial support but mainly affects the unemployment rate. Another thing they do mention on this article as well is that the United States does have other jobs but the people only like working the inside jobs. Why is the country not able to get out of this whole with the unemployment? Maybe the United States is living the great Depression but don’t want to alarm the people. It’s almost impossible to understand how the country was able to defeat the great depression but not offer more jobs. Another reason could be that the American Citizens are not willing to do hard labor and work out in the sun. This could be a factor why the immigrants are taking advantage of these working opportunities that the Americans don’t. Immigrants taking jobs is another factor that hurts the unemployment. All this chaos with the government providing false information gives people second thought in how the government actually functions. What if the government works under “the buddy system”. Where is this going to end? America is going to be so far into depth and eventually owned by another country.
