Animals rights have been an ongoing argument for many years and is still not resolved today. Animals, specifically rats, are still being used in research centers. Undergoing laws may have protection over lab rats in the future, but there are no guarantees. Research is a crucial tool in the development of today’s society; however, the use of animal experimentation and testing is not necessary due to the lack of ethical integrity. Researchers use rats for testing due to their convenience of fast reproduction and overabundance. Rats are victims of breeding mills and of some consider them as cheap, disposable animals.
