Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is immensely crucial for big international companies. Corporations such as Under Armour will benefit from CSR campaigns. According to statistics, 55% of consumers are willing to pay more for products from companies that are socially responsible (Double the Donation Research, 2017). Companies that show their commitment to society’s issues and problems are seen as more altruistic than companies whose corporate social responsibility initiatives do not exist. The first, “Power in Pink,” is a product line of activewear for men and women featuring pink materials and embellishments, designed to raise awareness about breast health. This program celebrates and highlights real women who use fitness to fight against this disease. “Power in Pink” has featured real-life examples of breast cancer survivors in advertisements and also partnering with NGOs, high schools and universities to carry out activities and games while also promoting the product line. In this program, Under Armour has encouraged breast cancer survivors to share their stories and experiences and three stories will be selected to be the new faces of the campaign. As a result of this campaign’s success, that had been created in 2003, Under Armour has committed $10 million to create the Under Armour Breast Health Innovation
