Some of our family members thought that we needed medical or phycological attention, or speech lessons. My father was wonderful and since he was a man of intellegence he would just laugh at their remarks because little did they know he had already research our strange communication and knew it was perfectly normal. To this day we still remember our twin language and our twin names we gave each other. I called her Dit and she called me Din. If one of us were misbehaving or one of us wouldnt go to sleep, my father found out that by simply asking the help of the behaving twin to start behaving or aid in getting her twin to sleep. My twin and I, were inseperable and we were very hesitant to let anyone into our secret twin

On October 9, 1968, a set of twins were born, but separated at birth and ultimately, put up for adoption. The decision to separate the twins came from the adoption agency who wanted to conduct a nature versus nurture experiment; however, the experiment was conducted in secret. However, for unknown reasons, the experiment never developed to fruition. Unaware the child they adopted was a twin; both sets of parents raised a singular child. Thirty-five years later, one twin began a search for her biological mother through the adoption agency, only to find out that she was born a twin. Upon learning her identity, she reached out to her twin and they began the journey of getting to know one another by comparing characteristics that appeared similar such as temperament and mannerism. They even discovered that they both held positions as a film critic and enjoyed almost identical movies.
As I read through this source, I did not find any information that would help me write my essay, however it was very interesting

All over the world, there are many different medical cases discovered. There are very rare ones and some common ones as well, we often see them everyday or on television shows. An example of one of these cases would be the Hensel twins, they are conjoined twins.Conjoined twins are very rare, that occur once in every 200,000 live births.Which means that most people in their lifetime will never get a chance to meet conjoined twins. Many people question how to categorize conjoined twins, most just categorize them as humans. A human is just continuity of life to be the same human, while a person is rational, moral and agent. John Locke puts the twins in thought when speaking of the Day-Man and Night- Man, a man with one body with
The Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, had heard what happened to the Four Hundred Boys and decided to exact revenge upon Zipacna for their deaths. This was also part of the Hero Twins goal to bring down the arrogant gods of the Maya. The twins devised an elaborate plan in which to trick and trap Zipacna. They fabricated an elaborate faux crab and then concealed it deep within a canyon.
I would like to acknowledge those who where instrumental in helping me put this paper together. A special thanks goes out to my classmates and even more specifically my group members Benjamin Mickle, Andrew Wallace, and Jeffrey Sheely. From their advice in varying my sentence structure, to the pushing of more description, I was able to enhance my paper. Thank you all.
I have come up with this thesis by gathering information from online and what I have seen and read about over the years. Below are the areas used and addressed from the Thesis Checklist:
There are many interesting facts about twins such as fraternal twin girl has two times the chance of conceiving twins. Furthermore, although a set of identical twins have the same DNA, they don’t share the same fingerprints. One can tell if they are to have identical or fraternal twins early on in the pregnancy with the help of an ultrasound specialist can determine if there are one or two placentas, also the number of amniotic sacs there are. Identical twins share the same placenta and amniotic sac, but each has their own umbilical cord. There is such a condition called, “Vanishing twin syndrome,” where one of the two twins disappears during the pregnancy, this can occur if the mother experiences a miscarriage of one of the twins, or if the twin is reabsorbed into the placenta, the other twin, or the mother. Twins have a special bond even before their birth, with the help of today's technology, we are able to discover that twins begin to interact with each other within the womb from as early on as fourteen weeks into the
My brother and I really don’t have a lot in common. A lot of people really like to think that we could be twins, not that I can I agree with that statement in the slightest. My mom would say we have polar opposite
One of the major advantages of being is that their twin provides them a bond that nothing else will ever compare to. In their lives, there will be nobody closer to you than your twin. Starting from a young age parents can see that “they become each other’s transitional objects—you know, that teddy bear or security blanket that helps to ease the pain when Mommy’s not around.” As they grow older, they learn that their twin is going to be the main person who’s going to be with them through thick and thin. Another advantage includes that you always have spare parts. Say for instance you needed a organ or blood. You twin is going to be the first person to offer their assistance in helping you to get better. Twins can learn how to compromise better than others because they have had to deal with compromises their whole life, and it’s more on that they themselves learn to compromise then being forced to compromise. You also have a person to help you in your life who knows exactly how you feel, and with being a twin, how you think. With that being said you always have a second look to the same situation where it can help you see the other side of things that you wouldn’t have seen without your twins

A multiple birth is the culmination of one multiple pregnancy, wherein the mother delivers two or more offspring. A term most applicable to placental species, multiple births occur in most kinds of mammals, with varying frequencies. Each single fertilized egg (zygote) may produce a single embryo, or it may split into two or more embryos, each carrying the same genetic material. Quadruplets are much rarer than twins or triplets. As of 2007, there were approximately 3500 sets recorded worldwide. Quadruplet births are becoming increasingly common due to fertility treatments. There are around 70 sets of all-identical quadruplets worldwide. Many sets of quadruplets contain a mixture of identical and fraternal siblings, such as three identical and one fraternal, two identical and two fraternal, or two pairs of

Extra sensory perception, referred to as “ESP”, is obtaining information through senses beyond the typical human five senses. Such examples of ESP include telepathy, precognition, remote viewing, and déjà vu. Telepathy is basically the communication between two or more persons or things without actual sound. A form of this called tele-empathy is commonly thought to be present between identical twins and sometimes fraternal twins. “My wife and I are very close so she understood that she had these terrible pains in her chest. She wondered, though, why her legs below the knees were swollen and hurt badly,” (Anders Tele-empathy Sec.). This quote by Rich Anders helps to pass the message that tele-empathy is real and that it is not exclusive to only twins, but that it can happen between any two people who are very close in relation. A story of this includes a young girl living in Yugoslavia during World War II was accompanied by a body guard at all times. He was blown up. While she survived the explosion, her hearing was permanently affected yet she would not talk to any peo...
