The story about Tom Walker and his wife is confusing. People asked if they’re evenly matched or in a good relationship, but I think they’re not even in a relationship. If they hated each other the whole time, then why did Tom marry her in the first place? Tom is described as stiff, but his wife would abuse him physically, hide food from him, and is described as ”Fierce of temper, Loud of the tongue, or Strong of Arm”. The relationship between these two is anything but loving. Tom Walker’s wife is known as the stubborn, selfish, thieving, kind of person. After their marriage, she never once told Tom she loved him. She steals and hides food from him most of the time. She cares for her own property and some of Tom’s property as well. She
