INTRODUCTION Intermodal Transportation’s assignment were required us to present details information and understandings on how logistic company runs through a local logistic industry. Students are given a huge task and studying on selected transportation company and understand how real world of logistics revolve. There are many choices to be considered to decide which company would be choose as well as other’s group’s company. After a long discussing session, we decided to choose Tiong Nam Logistics Holding Malaysia and do research about their company. Tiong Nam got quite a reputation in Malaysian shipping industry. Even the people already familiarised with the company’s name. Plus, the content for the assignment is quite easy to browse through internet. Tiong Nam provides services such as cold chain, machinery, logistics and property. As we know, every company have their own philosophy that they need to follow as the safety and security regulations to have a success logistics company. So, Tiong Nam had created their own philosophy to their workers, staff and customers. There are many awards that Tiong Nam Company had achieved.
