On April 19th, 1995 the Alfred P Murrah Federal Building was blown up. the Side was ripped off and papers flying in the wind and there was a dust cloud in the air. Timothy McVeigh,Terry Nichols and Michael Fortier plotted a bomb plan to explode Alfred P. Murrah federal building.They built a bomb with garden fertilizer and ammonium nitrate. The Oklahoma City Bombing was a terrorist act against the American government. With the help of two other people he planned this act of terrorism. McVeigh, Nichols and Fortier met in the army at Fort Benning. On Sept 13th, 1994 McVeigh starts the plot to bomb the Alfred P Murrah building. Timothy McVeigh went to the Alfred P Murrah government building and parked his rental truck. The armed vehicle was loaded with explosives. They did the bombing because they didn’t like the way the government handled the Waco siege. so mcveigh stole stuff from an Arkansas weapon store and got a truck and stuffed the truck with explosives and killed 168 people because the government handled Waco badly. …show more content…

A few days later he bought nitromethane racing fuel at a race track. He had everything he needed to make the bomb. Then he bought a getaway car. On April 17th McVeigh goes to Elliot body shop to pick up a 20 foot Ryder truck that will hold the bomb, but he rents the truck in a different name.
