Do you know who Babe Ruth is? Babe Ruth is one of the greatest baseball players that ever lived. After doing some research on him, I learned lots about his baseball career, his life growing up, and much more.

Babe was born on February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland to the name of George Herman Ruth. He attended St. Mary’s Industrial School for Boys. However, he wasn’t very proud of the way that he grew up. He was running the streets, rarely attended school, drinking whisky and chewing tobacco by the age of 8. Luckily, Babe grew up to be an amazing baseball player. He started playing in minor league baseball for the Baltimore, Orioles in 1914.
