A monotheistic religion is one that believes there is only one God. The three major monotheistic religions in the world consist of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In comparison, there are many similarities and differences about their founding and worship about these three religions. The Arabs who would worship Islam later on first worshiped a polytheistic religion, which means they which worshiped more than one god. They believed in one supreme god called Allah, which ruled over the other gods(p. 185). The main factor that started the revolution of Islam was a man named Muhammad.
