An avowed nationalist, who had impact on the American dream, Theodore Roosevelt brought presidency and nation into the twentieth century. (Theodore) Theodore Roosevelt was the twenty sixth president of the United States, a president that had great impact in politics. He was born into a rich family, and he suffered from asthma during his childhood (United States. National Park service). He studied at Harvard University, and the Columbia law school (United States. National Park service 2). He attended the New York Assembly, which was his first step in to politics ("Hall of Governors"). At the time of the Spanish American war, he helped create a group called the Rough Riders, and was elected to be the governor of New York. ("Hall of Governors" 2). As he became the president of the United States, his policies were called the square deal, as he tried hard to promise a fair deal to average families in the United States (United States. National Park service 3). Theodore Roosevelt made a profound impact on society by having influence on the creation of the American dream.
Theodore Roosevelt worked as the vice president under William McKinley. It was not long before McKinley was assassinated and Theodore Roosevelt took over the office at a very young age ("Theodore Roosevelt"). Many people of the congress were not happy with the fact that Theodore Roosevelt was working as the president in place of William McKinley; his political ways of leading the country was different from those of the people in the congress. The priority of Theodore Roosevelt was to promote working conditions of workers. He wanted their rights to be protected. Instead of focusing on extrinsic factors, he focused on actual problems such as the health problem of citizen...

In brief, Theodore Roosevelt helped the economy by helping to create a better work condition for many groups; also he made adjustments with the congress to make an amendment to help keep the rights of individual workers, and to maintain an equal sharing among the people. Lastly, he allowed people from the other countries to immigrate to the United States. Roosevelt shaped the American dream for foreigners that immigrated to the United States, but also to the people that were currently dwelling in the United States. Despite that Theodore Roosevelt was working as president at a very difficult situation where the congress mostly disagreed with him, he still managed to accomplish his political priorities, and to shape the American dream.
