Theodore Roosevelt could be considered the best president of the US because of the efforts he made in the years 1904 to 1909. Not only did he help the country while in office, but he was also commander of the first US Volunteer Cavalry Regiment in the Spanish American War, the youngest member of the New York assemble at the age of 23, the president of New York City Police Board from 1895- 1897, assistant secretary of the Navy, governor of New York, and Vice President of the U.S. With this background, Roosevelt became the youngest President in the Nation's history at the age of forty-two. I can barely figure out school and work at once. He did all of those at one time. That is a lot of responsibility and i look up to him for that.

The last reason why Teddy Roosevelt was the coolest and best president would have to be because As the first conservationist president, he spearheaded the creation of the United States Forest Service, and established 5 new national parks. He was responsible for the start of the Wildlife Refuge system. During his administration, 42 million acres were set aside as national forests, wildlife refuges, and areas of special interest.

In conclusion, Theodore Roosevelt was my choice for this research paper because to me, he was the best president. He did so much for our country including being the youngest president that ever was in office, having 9 different jobs while also taking care of the whole country, and along with those, he presented so many good things that makes me love our country.
