“ I heard that the parties are better than J’s!” Reggie screamed excitedly. “Let’s go before Richy forgets he invited us!”

All of a sudden the music stopped, the whole room paused. “Who stole my mother’s pearls?” Richard shouted with anger. ...

“What is wrong with me? You’re dating my brother. Why would you even care?” Reggie asked.
“Richard and I were seeing each other before he met you. He was going to marry me with that ring. I knew exactly where to get it.” Alexis said with a smirk. “He was going to be my husband until he met you!”
“Guards! I want her taken away at this moment!”
“Why didnt you ever tell me!” Bill screamed at her as she was being escorted out. Richard reached into her pocket and pulled out the ring.
“Will you marry me?” Richard got on his knees. “I know this is a bad time but i've been dying to ask you!”
“Yes! Yes! Yes! A hundred times yes!” Reggie started to scream. Once the night was over Mary-Beth left the town and Alexis got put into jail. Although Bill gates Richard he agreed to be his best man and the couple got married in the morning.

Whereas, Mrs. Lyons house is colourful and bright. There is a bookshelf which shows that they are privileged enough to have books and that this family is refined and educated. There is a carpet that is rolled out every time that the Lyons house is on stage. This shows comfort, softness and warmth as does the fireplace in the Lyons house. This is a contrast between the Johnstons house where they have broken windows which shows coolness and discomfort.
Rex was an alcoholic who, when sober, was a charming and intelligent man that educated his children through geology, physics, mathematics, and how to live life fearlessly. Later, when both the love for the nomad lifestyle faded and the money ran out, the Walls escaped to Welch, a ghastly mining town in West Virginia where Rex’s family resided, who he had done everything he could to escape from. He began drinking more, saving the grocery money and disappearing for days at a time. As their parents got more and more out of hand, Jeannette and her siblings had to fend for themselves and support one another through their parent’s deception, eventually gathering the will to leave home altogether and move to New York City. Knowing that there are other families out there just like the Walls, possibly some that are even worse, makes me think about how lucky I am and how good I am.

"You like it, eh?" Her father bestowed on her his secret smile. In truth it was more of a smirk. Right lip raised slightly to expose an endearing dimple beneath his moustache, his cupid's bow lips pursed so it looked like he was pouting. "I forget you are fierce, like she was."
"I could get rid of her so we could be married and live happily ever after. Just you me and our little boy. Don’t that sound wonderful Tommy darling? She asks dreamily.

Darcy begins to reexamine his corrupt tone, motives, and the consequential end result of his proposal. In reviewing this, he has a change of heart and proceeds to assist in the reunion of Jane and Mr. Bingley and in the locating of Lydia from Wickham. Through these generous actions, Mr. Darcy proves he does care deeply about Elizabeth and his feelings for Elizabeth are true. Proposing a second time, Mr. Darcy completely changes his approach and therefore hopes for a different outcome. This second proposal catches Elizabeth off guard, yet she does have a more docile reaction than she did to the first proposal. Mr. Darcy’s true love for Elizabeth shines through in the sincere and loving tone of his proposal. Also, he apologizes to Elizabeth for his former arrogance, extreme pride, and rudeness in his prior proposal. Not only does his tone shift, he now has a new set of motives to support his proposal. Mr. Darcy explains to Elizabeth how fervently he loves her and how he does not care about money or social status as much as his love for her. Unlike the last proposal, he is not sure of what her answer will be, but this only causes the proposal to be more sincere. Mr. Darcy also does not want to pressure Elizabeth into marriage, so he tells her, “‘If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you will silence me on this subject forever.’” (314). She then informs
