I’m on Thanksgiving break but, I have several overdue journals for my student success class. 2. How would I like my situation to be? I get to do all my assignments in a timely manner. 3. What are my possible choices? • I could give up and won’t do them anymore. • I could ask someone to help me with my grammar. • I could manage my time more wisely. • I could ask successful classmates who took this class before for help. • I could stay up for three days straight to finish everything then take a couple of days to review and revise. • I could vent my frustrations by …show more content…

• Venting my frustrations: I’d momentarily feel better by releasing pent up energy. • Think about doing: I’d waste my time, become more stressed and have a burnout. • Sucking it up and just doing it: I’d have the gratification of knowing that I’ve done it and finished. However, it would affect my performance of doing better. 5. Which choice(s) will I commit doing? I’ll manage my time and ask my successful classmates for help. I’ll make a 24-hour planner and list all the things I’m going to do within the day and schedule a meeting in the public library with my classmate(s). I’ll also reread the chapters of the missed journals entries so that I’ll maximize the time I’m with them. However, if I can’t get this done over the break then I’ll continue to plan my time. 6. When and how will I evaluate my plan? When I finish this class, I’ll see if I have achieved my goal of planning my time more efficiently. II.
