Outside the town hall, Wildfire stopped him, he felt the lion’s mind connecting. “Since you will be riding on me when fighting, you should get used to it” the lion said. The lion put his paw on the saddle which Quinn was still holding and closed his eyes. Quinn felt a large amount of energy coming from the lion’s body. “I have enchanted this saddle to be resistant to my heat, as you’ve seen, in battle my body flares up and would burn you without this enchantment. I’ve used a lot of energy in that spell, I’m going to go hunt outside the city for some food. You will ride on me and practice shooting animals and swinging your sword while I ride” said Wildfire. “Okay” said Quinn in his mind, as he hopped on Wildfire. Quinn and Wildfire spent a long time in the woods hunting and practicing his skills, they finally got home after a long night. The lion had space to sleep beside Quinn’s bed. The next morning, Quinn woke up late morning thankful that the town hasn’t been attacked yet. Wildfire was still sleeping but he soon woke up when Quinn started making breakfast. He had bread with a wedge of cheese with eggs on the side and drank a cup of ale. He had about half of his breakfast before the sound of the bells started ringing. Quinn swore out loud, he was angry he did not get to finish his breakfast and he was still somewhat hungry. He quickly geared up for battle and put on Wildfire’s saddle. ... of the king’s army was dead, the Valour cheered loudly for what seemed like hours. Now that the king was overthrown, there was a debate between the surrounding cities of who should be the new king or queen. They finally decided that either Quinn, who defeated the king, or Thea, leader of the resistance, should gain the throne. Quinn stated that he would like Thea to be the new Queen, and he will assist her. The next day, the coronation was held in the middle of town. Everyone in the town and even others from nearby towns came to see the crowning of Thea. On the stage Thea stood smiling and waving to everyone, she was in a purple dress with golden outlines. As Quinn and Wildfire approached, she sat down. “Rise now as Queen” Quinn said as he put a golden crown laced with jewels on her head. Wildfire roared loudly, and the towns people cheered, “long live Queen Thea”
