Propaganda is the art of persuasion, and it had a major influence on WWII. Every country involved in the war had their own way of using propaganda to impact the public in different ways. Some countries were more forceful in presenting their propaganda to their country. Many types of propaganda were used in WWII. Books, radio, films, comic strips, and posters were directed towards the public to put them in a certain mind set about war. Every countries propaganda had different effects on the public. Nazi Germany’s use of propaganda had a greater impact on the public compared to Canada, USA, and Britain’s propaganda.
Nazi Germany’s use of propaganda was very different than Canada’s, and because of that it had a much greater impact on society. Canada’s propaganda was mostly posters, and occasionally radio. The posters Canada came out with during WWII mostly focused on the benefits of war, and the glorification of war. A lot of the posters guided the public to buy victory bonds, ration the little supplies they had, and how great fighting for freedom is. Nazi Germany’s propaganda have a ranged from newspaper, to films. Germany forced a negative mindset upon their country. They put the public in the mindset that all Jews, communists, and anyone that Germany saw as a threat, were on the bottom, and were worth less than everyone else. The difference between Canada and Nazi Germany’s use of propaganda, was Canada used propaganda to put their country in a positive light. While Germany on the other hand, put their country in a negative place of mind. Germany used propaganda that was different from glorifying war, unlike Canada, which had a greater impact of the public.

...mes, promoting hate against Jews, as well as bombing enemy countries. Nazi Germany wanted children on their side, unlike Britain who did not want children being apart of the war. Because Germany involved their kids in propaganda by creating board games, comic strips, and films, it was much easier for them to gain control and thoughts of them. This had a big impact on not only the children of Germany, but their adults.
It is clear that Canada, USA, Britain, and Nazi Germany all had different methods of using propaganda during WWII. Nazi Germanys propaganda had a greater impact on the public out of all of these countries because it wasn't about glorifying war, they were much more forceful with their use of radio, and they gained control of the children. Propaganda is using bias to promote a political cause, and Nazi Germany had the most forceful propaganda of WWII.
