Monotoned or Psychopath? I believe to find the Meursault, a fictional character from “The Strangers”, guilty of murder. Why, you ask? The answer is quite complicated to precise. Not only did Meursault commit murder, he did it for selfish reasons. He chooses to believe that the human race should not be told what to do by society. Meursault doesn’t have a set rules he follows to live a normal life. He kills without a reason, no plot driving him to the murder. It was apparent to he did not obtain feelings of no such. He was man without God in his life. An example that he does not have the same feelings as other people do is when his mother passed away. Meursault did not even know how old his mom was. In the first few lines of the novel he said
