Why Freeing the Slaves should be in a Aggressive Action
In the 19th century, they were having an internal war. Free the slaves or keep them enslaved. The slaves and the north wanted them to be free, but the South and slave owners did not want them free. The slaves wanted to be free, do they do it peacefully or aggressively. People might disagree because the are slave owners and the slave do all the work for them. Of course they do not want them to be free. The slaves make them more money. Delany’s speech Political Destiny of the Colored Race in the American Continent also contain examples of the African-American slaves’ concepts of freedom; all the similarities and differences among them.
