The Simpsons and Family Guy Peter Griffin and his family were driving in a car, when it broke down and he had no money to repair it. “We’re in a small town called Springfield, what kind of a name is that?” So they decided to go get food. They got a dozen donuts. They went to the cashier and found out they didn’t have any money to pay for the donuts. Luckily there was another family named the Simpsons. They paid for the donuts because the dad, Homer Simpson, thought that all men should have donuts. Peter said thank you and began to leave. Then Homer asked where they lived. Peter said “We don’t have a home here they are just stuck till their car is fixed.” Marge and Homer offered to house them until their car was fixed.

They decided to start a car wash and earn money. They soon made a lot of money. So they decided to get some beer because they were tired. Peter said “it was ok” but he liked the Patriot Ale better. But Homer liked Duff better. They started arguing and eventually they took off they label and found out that Patriot Ale was Duff just covered with a different label. They then went to court to argue about the fraud labels. Homer won and then they started fighting. They fought for hours before they both were tired and bloody and decided to stop fighting and take a rest. They returned home and slept.
The next day, the Griffins went home after their car was repaired and Peter lost his job for Patriot Ale because it was shut down. He got a new job at Duff and they met

and then they get in to a fight and John won and peter was running
Television provides an avenue for which we can analyze people, cultures, and more. My favorite show is Family Guy. The show often pokes fun at either social norms or popular trends occurring in current society. Its humor is supported by the relationship of a talking baby named Stewie, and a talking dog named Brian who live in Rhode Island. Through out the many seasons of Family Guy, the viewer can see through a sociological perspective how all three common theories in sociology are used on Stewie and Brian.
“Oh my God, they killed Kenny!” South Park is a adult cartoon that circles around the abnormal life of four boys living in Colorado. This hilarious animated television series strives to be the most controversial show on air. The series has been on air since August 13, 1997 and while the show seems ridiculous, it is commonly known for incorporating high and low culture within the show. South Park has been known to take current issues from today’s society and convert them to a more simplified version while transforming it into a satire. One episode that stood out from the rest was an episode called “The Cissy” which focused on gender relations and transgender issues. This episode reflected on how today’s society see gender and transgender.
One day Rain is picking plums out of the trees when she slips, falls and breaks her hip. While Cap drives Rain to the hospital he gets arrested by the police for under age driving and driving without a liscense. He tells the police that he was driving his grandmother to the hospital. After the cop puts Cap in handcuffs
Family Guy, an animated sitcom about a New England family and their everyday dilemmas, is a way for viewers to see the comedic side of a dysfunctional family. The Griffins consist of Peter and Lois, the patriarch and matriarch, and Meg, Chris, and Stewie are the children(Family Guy). Every character is different from the next character. They are also weird in their own way. The television show itself displays feminism, structuralism, and gay and lesbian criticism. Each character in the show also displays those criticisms in a certain fashion. Family Guy can be offensive to viewers with its satire, and the way the show delivers its message can make the family and the other characters in the show seem dysfunctional.
Politicians are almost always an easy target when it comes to skits and jokes. Saturday Night Live has been imitating these public figures for forever, and they have remained popular throughout the years. Not only is the fact that these actors and actresses can sound and imitate the politician perfectly, but the fact that they can make the politicians points and arguments sound so ridiculous. In the Epic Rap Battle between Mitt Romney and Barak Obama, their characteristics are exaggerated upon, and their main points of their campaigns are torn to shreds. With the rhetoric situation being the 2012 presidential campaign, the argument in the clip is that both candidates have lots of promises for the country, but neither of them are fit for the
When the FOX network aired "The Simpsons" in 1989, the show brought the yellow-skinned and four-fingered cartoon characters named Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson into millions of American living rooms. This bent archetype of the American family, as well as the hundreds of zany characters that populate their all-American hometown of Springfield, fast became the targets of enormous criticism. Elementary schools banned T-shirts bearing the images of the Simpson family and their slogans. Former U.S. Secretary of Education William Bennett and even President George Bush berated the show as subversive and demeaning (McAllister 1494). However, a more careful investigation of the show reveals far more than nose-thumbing gutter humor--enveloped in sarcasm and comedy, "The Simpsons" offers a thought-provoking critique of American politics, faith, and the American family.
When Bart snaps a picture of Homer dancing with a belly dancer at a stag party, it gets photocopied and soon all of Springfield has a copy. Homer becomes the talk of the town but almost ruins his marriage to Marge. Marge insists in making Homer take Bart to meet the bellydancer so he can learn that women aren't sex objects, because she fears he's getting a bad lesson out of all of this.
The Simpsons Since its first episode in January 1990, 'The Simpsons' has become a worldwide phenomenon. For the first time a show existed as an animated television sitcom, it addresses and satirises important issues through the fictional town of Springfield, (aka a typical American town). The show starts with 2 minutes of introductory credits, accompanied by boisterous music, through which the audience is shown around the town of Springfield and briefly glimpse the members of the community. As everybody in the town is a stereotyped member of American society, this is a fast and clever way of satirising American life. In fact, the credits are so speedy that most would not be able to notice the school bullies picking on the nerdy looking geek or
Bob came home from school one day. When Bob walked inside, his mom Rachel asked him how his day was and he said that it was the best day yet. So they talked for awhile and his mom asked him what he feels is better, moving to a place where his grandma lives and to a new school, or staying here where he gets bullied and has a lakefront property. Rachel said he can think about it for only a few days. So a couple of days passed and Bob finally had made his decision, he walked up to his mom and said “I want to move to Washington”. Rachel said okay I will tell your father, Stewart and see what he thinks and then I will tell you what the plan is. Rachel said to Bob start packing so we don’t have to stay any longer than five days. Bob said he was done
Some kids thought hide and go seek was boring, as did I. Playing hide and seek through out my neighborhood was one of the things all the little kids did. Every person in this block knew of each other. I never had fun because everyone always would get in fights and the game always ended early. Yet, for some reason this game was intensified by creating teams where one team being the hunters who protect home base and the hunted who are trying to reach it before being tagged by the hunter. So because of his there were always heated arguments that turned into fights.
Family Guy is an adult animated sitcom that revolves around the shenanigans of Peter Griffin and friends. The sitcom draws humor from its caricature of American Society, and when it comes lampooning issues, it leaves no stone unturned: from race and gender to religion and politics -- Family Guy makes for satire writ large. Not surprisingly, Family Guy has been criticized for its political incorrectness. Nevertheless, the unabashed sitcom had been nominated for many awards -- most prominent among them, the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
So a duck walks into a convenient store and says, “Hey you got any gwapes?” Annoyed the clerk responds “No we don’t have any grapes.” The next day the duck comes back into the store and asks the clerk, “Hey you got any gwapes?” The clerk replies, “ Didn’t I tell you yesterday we don’t have no grapes! You come back in here asking for grapes and I’ll staple you beak shut, got it?” So the next day the duck walks into the convenient store and says. “ Hey you got any staples?” The clerk replies, “No, no staples”. So the duck asks, “Well than you got any gwapes?” (“All Work and No Play Makes Eddy Go Crazy 2/15/03).
