Picture this you go to a friends house without your mom knowing. When you arrive home your mom asks where were you, would you lie or tell the truth. I will lie so I don't get her angry and make a positive result. I firmly believe that lying is acceptable in our society. Lying is justified when it can be used to protect and cares for others. For example Anne Frank survived as long as she did because those sheltering her lyed to the Naziz army. What I mean by this is that if they didn't lie they would have been dead. This shows that lying saved them that day. In addition, the french resistance during world war 1 couldn't have operated without deception. Another way to say this is, that they lied to keep the army safe. This is important because, if they had said the truth we wouldn't be here. For example, Rebecca recently told her son that there was no more cartoons on the T.V. This connects to my argument because, she is lying to make a more brighter and positive son. This shows that she is making him ready for the future by lying. In addition, If your wife and you are going to a Noble prize, and asks if she looks fat in her dress, you say no. This shows that he is making a positive result between them by lying. What I mean by this is that you should lie to not hurt someone's feelings. So lie only if it is going to make a positive
